Current status of work:
At this stage, the foundations, electrical connections and most of the structural elements have already been installed. The work will soon continue, including further construction activities, construction of the roof and hall cladding, as well as work related to water and sewage systems. Completion of the works is scheduled for 2025.
The existing facility will be renovated and enlarged with two new parts. Thanks to this, it will be possible to carry out work in a two-shift system, employing 200 people in production and 25 in administration.
Technology Workshop, apart from modernizing the fleet, is also involved in developing its own initiatives. Recently, the plant has created, among others: a measuring wagon for checking the condition of the traction network, a technical wagon equipped with a snowplow and a wagon for grinding tracks.
